Take it from someone who lost one iPod to drowning in the dog bowl, this is a must have. I can now feel comfortable letting my little one watch her cartoons and hear her music knowing that if she drops it on the floor (or in the dog dish again) it will be safe. It has kept my iPod scratch free and in perfect condition. I'm very happy I bought it. -- Well worth the money

But the click wheel does not operate as it should through the patented membrane. I often have to struggle with it to scroll through albums among other things. Other than that the otterbox does what it says it does, which is survive the drops and bangs of clumsy people such as myself. -- Built like a tank...

Purchased this item before taking my ipod to the beach. It kept all sand and water out. Great product and easy to use. Very good investment if using your ipod in less than ideal environmental conditions ! -- Great Item
